Status: Phase Out

Objectives: GTA Foundation developed the ASHA app to enhance AMR surveillance and raise awareness among healthcare workers and community health volunteers. The app was designed to:

1. Facilitate real-time data collection on antibiotic use and resistance trends.
2. Provide educational content on AMR and responsible antibiotic use.
3. Support rapid reporting and response coordination between health workers and authorities.

Outcome: The ASHA app improved data availability and reporting speed, enhancing Nepal’s AMR surveillance network. Health workers and volunteers gained better awareness of AMR risks and practices, contributing to stronger community-level stewardship.
