COVID Relief Activities – Nepalgunj and Khajura

Nepalgunj
On August 2, 2021, GTA, with support from Give2Asia, organized a COVID care kit distribution program in Banke, Nepalgunj. The program focused on providing essential relief materials, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and care kits, to individuals in isolation due to COVID-19 infection. These efforts aimed to support those affected by the virus while ensuring safety and hygiene during their recovery.

Khajura
On December 13, 2021, GTA, in collaboration with Give2Asia, conducted a relief materials distribution program in Khajura Rural Municipality. The initiative specifically targeted daily wage workers and temporary workers who were severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Relief materials were provided to ease their hardship during this difficult time.

These activities reflect GTA's ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during the pandemic, providing both immediate relief and vital health resources.
