Targeted Community-Level Training and Engagement (2016–2022)
In 2016, training programs were conducted for 200 Female Community Health Volunteers
(FCHVs) and school teachers, aimed at enhancing community awareness and promoting
preventive practices related to waterborne diseases, including cholera and typhoid.
In 2017, 80 water suppliers were trained on safe water handling, treatment, and distribution
practices to reduce the risk of water contamination and strengthen the role of water service
providers in public health protection.
Furthering the engagement of youth in health advocacy, a dedicated training was organized in
2022 for 100 schoolgirls, equipping them with knowledge on hygiene, sanitation, and disease
prevention, and empowering them to serve as change agents within their schools and
communities.
