Formative Research for the Early Grade Reading Program in Kaski and Banke Districts, Nepal Supported by Another Option/RTI/USAID from August–December 2015
GTA has played a pivotal role in enhancing public health and education through a wide range of
initiatives. These include the development of comprehensive training manuals, capacity-building
sessions for teachers and key stakeholders, and the implementation of both qualitative and
quantitative formative research. GTA has also been actively involved in designing and executing
awareness campaigns, curriculum development, and thematic workshops across various areas of
public health.
GTA conducted in-depth formative research aimed at identifying the motivations, beliefs, fears,
and concerns of target audiences. The findings were instrumental in shaping a robust Social and
Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) strategy designed to enhance early grade reading
outcomes.
