Qualitative Training Program for Research Assistants
Key highlights from the Qualitative training program for research assistants that was successfully conducted on May 9th, 2025, at the GTA office as part of the project "A Randomized Control Trial of an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program for Veterinary Service Providers and Farming Communities in Nepal."
Dr. Sreenidhi Srinivasan,(Associate Scientist, Henry Ford Health Global Health Initiative, USA) introduced the project design, objectives, research ethics, and consenting procedures, while Dr. Linda M. Kaljee (Senior Scientist, Henry Ford Health Global Health Initiative) led sessions on mixed methods and qualitative data collection and management.
Together, they reviewed qualitative research guides with participants, who also engaged in mock interviews, followed by a Q&A and wrap-up session.
