Unlocking Poultry Health: Postmortem Insights and Hands-On Training.

As part of a capacity-building initiative by the Veterinary Practitioners Association Nepal (VPAN), Dr. Kerry Andrew Mulqueen, a poultry veterinarian from New Zealand, facilitated an insightful session focused on poultry disease diagnosis through postmortem examination on 19th June at Nepal Veterinary Council, Kathmandu.

The event featured detailed lectures on common poultry diseases, hands-on necropsy training where participants observed lesions and discussed differential diagnoses, and interactive case-based discussions. This practical, expert-led training not only sharpened the diagnostic skills of over 20 participating veterinarians and students from across Nepal but also fostered collaboration and exposure to international standards in veterinary practices.

Moreover, Veterinary Practitioners Association Nepal (VPAN) also acknowledged Central Referral Veterinary Hospital and GTA Foundation for their support.
