Project Kick-Off in Nepal!

On 9th September 2025, we officially launched our new study: “Evaluating Biosecurity Measures and Farmer Behavioural Change Strategy to Mitigate Antimicrobial Resistance and Climate Impacts in Poultry Farms in Nepal: A Cluster-Based Intervention Study" in partnership with the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS).

During the kick-off meeting, the Group for Technical Assistance (GTA) and ICARS teams came together to align on project objectives, implementation strategies, and collaborative pathways.

This milestone marks the start of an inspiring journey to:

  • Address antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in poultry farming
  • Tackle climate-related challenges
  • Promote sustainable, climate-smart solutions for farmers in Nepal
