The GTA team successfully organized a Training Session for Research Assistants.
The GTA team successfully organized a Training session for Research Assistants on 23rd September 2025 at the GTA Meeting Hall to support baseline data collection for the project “A Randomized Control Trial of an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program for Veterinary Service Providers and Farming Communities in Nepal.”
We were privileged to have the session facilitated by Dr. Sreenidhi Srinivasan, Associate Scientist, and Mr. Tyler Prentiss, Senior Program Manager, from the Henry Ford Health Global Health Initiative. Their expertise, guidance, and interactive approach made the training both insightful and impactful.
The program focused on key areas including data collection protocols, use of REDCap, ethical considerations, and mock practice sessions equipping Research Assistants with the skills required for accurate and high-quality baseline survey implementation.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their active engagement, and to our trainers for their invaluable contributions. With this preparation, we are confident in moving ahead to generate reliable baseline data that will contribute to strengthening antimicrobial stewardship in Nepal.
