Advancing Health Equity in LMICs: A Knowledge Café Learning Session
Continuing our Knowledge Café learning series, GTA Foundation hosted an engaging session on 24th April 2026 on “Bridging the Gap: Health Equity and Social Determinants in Maternal and Child Health across LMICs.”
We were honored to have Dr Rajeeb Kumar Sah, Associate Professor in Public Health at the University of Huddersfield and Strategic Lead International for the School of Human and Health Sciences, as our speaker. With a background as a medical doctor and extensive expertise in global health, his work focuses on mental health, maternal and child health, and health inequalities. His research highlights the importance of social determinants of health and amplifying the lived experiences of marginalized populations through interdisciplinary and community-engaged approaches.
The session was insightful, thought-provoking, and encouraged meaningful dialogue on advancing health equity in low- and middle-income countries.
