GTA Foundation Hosts Knowledge Café on Disaster Preparedness and Response

GTA Foundation successfully hosted its monthly Knowledge Café on the theme "Emergency and Disaster Management", featuring an insightful session by Dr. Surendra Bahadur Panday.

Drawing on more than 35 years of national and international experience in humanitarian response, public health, and development, Dr. Panday shared valuable perspectives on disaster preparedness, emergency response systems, coordination mechanisms, and lessons learned from working with international organizations, including UNHCR.

The session provided a meaningful platform for learning, dialogue, and knowledge exchange among participants, reinforcing the importance of preparedness, resilience, and collaborative action in addressing emergencies and disasters.
